Santa? Seriously?

Just a little peak into a weekend art project with the boys. As you can see the project had them more than they had the project...but nonetheless, they had a great time with it. Then again, they can make darn near anything into a great time!
We found it interesting that they broke out the Santa jammies from last year to wear. Even more interesting was Carson asking me to take him to see Santa. I told him we could not see Santa until after Thanksgiving. His response was, well then let's have Thanksgiving!

Oh what a night....

I don't know if these pictures say it all or not, but I hope that this helps all of you feel a bit more normal and in control than I. Tonight might be one for the record books and sucky sucky dinner times. Harper, well she screamed for at least an hour and I finally just gave her the spoons with some bananas on them and let her try her hand at feeding herself. She is seven months old after all, that is old enough to self feed, right?

Heck...take a look at the boys, they are 3.5 and 6 and seem to self feed on a seven month old level at least.
As for the crazy fashion, I am not sure if I should bust out in a YMCA song melody or be awaiting their project runway designs. And, for the record, that is spaghetti sauce on the face, not lipstick.

It's gonna be a good good night...

The dainty drinker. Well, it is hard to do it any other way with your arms out the neck hole.

Oh, the one shoulder thing. That is so seven minutes ago.

He can do better.

Ta da! He does it, this is certainly high fashion and will be seen on a catwalk somewhere only to be shot down by Nina Garcia.

But, Carson, much like Tim Gunn, he will make it work! The show must go on.

Now...to clean the kitchen. It is not pretty in there...

Harper is 7 Months or 31 Weeks old!

Not quite a full grin, but a smile--they have been few and far between since Sunday evening.

A full on elephant attack.

A little giggle.

Holding her hands. So sweet.

Eating her dress...this was quickly followed by eating her shoes.

Today is a better day. She is still not herself, but I do believe we are on the road back there. She has a little sore on her nose--not sure how that happened, either I wiped too much snot off or she did it with her dagger claws (I did trim them after I saw this) but it just appeared one morning. A lot happens at night and I do my best to not open my eyes if I don't have to, so who knows where that came from.
Well, the princess is back to eating her shoes...I best go get a picture of it!

The princess is still sick, better I think...maybe...

The princess was also 7 months old on Monday, but alas sick=no pictures, but tomorrow I will take one and post it even if she doesn't look better...she looks so sad, and her Mommy hates seeing her like this! Keith thinks it is just a cold, and an ear infection...but since I have been up with her since Sunday night and getting no sleep I think I feel it coming on too. Let's hope I am just tired and imagining things...

The princess is still not well...

...hopefully not sick much longer. It was a rough night full of all the fun stuff being sick can bring. She has a "little" ear infection according to Keith. Then to top it all of I am a terrible mother and let her roll off the bed today while getting the boys ready. Ugh. Must do better tomorrow. Must sleep more tonight.

Fingers crossed and everything disinfected that this doe not get passed around!

Off to dinner and the laundry pile.

The princess is sick.

Yesterday I thought maybe it was teething...but last night the coughing began and today the coughing and snot continued and then the throwing up just happened a few times. She is bathed and sleeping now...let's hope that this is a 24 hour thing, I can't stand to see my baby not feeling well!

Thanks for coming Bopa and Monga! We miss you already!

We had a great time the past two weeks having Bopa and Monga here...we worked hard to talk them into quitting working and moving here, but so far no luck on that front. We will be trying again when they return in December to spend a few weeks with us again then. I tell them over and over again they could move in...I don't think they believe us...
