Taking the Jeep for a Ride

We have had some nice days in the 50's. The kids have enjoyed getting out and playing since we have been in way too much over break.

JoCo Museum

We came to see Funky Mama. But it was sold out. Apparently you have to pay in advance and have a reservation to attend. Would be helpful if they shared that information.

But the kids didn't seem to mind too much and the play area was fun for them. Very cute and well done, other than the choking hazards.

Harper attached herself to the baby doll and did not let go. She went with us to most all of the rooms.

Then we went to the "library" with the baby. Here she looked at books and then sat in a red bean bag chair near the door with her baby for a bit. While she was sitting there another little girl walking by saw her with the baby and like a lion pounced on her out of no where. It was funny and it was freaky all at the same time. The girl screamed and jumped through the door and jumped on Harper and screamed "give me my baby" "that is my baby" while pulling at the doll and sitting on my child. Harper screamed. The other little girl's mother pulled her off Harper but Harper was a bit freaked out, rightfully so. It was so bizarre.

Then we were playing movie theater. There are curtains, dress up clothes and lights. This woman in there did not like Carson playing with the curtains. She said they had to remain open. Um..OK, isn't this pretend play? It has rules. Seriously woman, chill out.

Carson being too dominating towards Harper with the lighting.

In the arts and crafts areas with pipe cleaners and beads. Not sure about the beads. I had to pull a few out of her mouth.

Chase and his cow. He really liked the cow, the cowboy hat and the broom he used to clean his cow.

Chase told Carson he was busy cleaning his cow and couldn't pick the corn Carson wanted him to pick. I wonder if Chase wants to come clean over here...

Monga goes to the KU Game

Originally we had all planned to go, but after the great flu of 2010 Monga and Keith went to the game instead. Rock Chalk!

Monga and Bopa go home.

Christmas 2010 - Ornaments!

Well, better late than never. This was the latest ever in getting these done and given out, but they will look nice on the tree next year now won't they :-)

Not feeling very good....

Happy Birthday Monga Mimi

Due to overwhelming sickness we celebrated Monga Mimi's birthday at home this year. She will be due a trip to Cheesecake Factory when they return for sure. As soon as one person got better another got sick. Harpre was sick for this celebration. Then it was my turn. I fell in the middle of the pack for this fun winter break bug.
Happy 67th birthday Mom! Glad we got to celebrate with you. Sorry it was not more fun!
