Coloring!

We have been doing this a lot...it is like arts and crafts central around here. This was last week. Today we painted. Tomorrow...hmm...

I feel another snow day coming on...

It just started and they already cancelled evening church activities. That is never a good sign.

They say 8-10". I wonder if "they" know anything. We shall see. While I don't mind the school days it certainly does make it hard with a kid that doesn't transition well. I would like more notice from now on please. Snow days should be scheduled.

Carson was complaining about taking a rest while Harper napped, but the kid was so cranky I suggested a movie. He just asked me how much longer he has to "take a break". I assured him that I would never ask that question if someone told me to go lay down and watch a movie while they waited on me hand and foot.

Snow Day!

I bundled everyone up and we headed out to play. I think Davis lasted 10 minutes. Carson and Harper maybe 15. My kids are snow sissies.

It is snowing!

Finally. Not a lot yet, but hopefully more. Today was declared a snow day. Still odd to me that the first sign of weather we have a snow day around here, you would think it would wait until there were issues with the roads or something...but oh well, the kids are excited! I had a lot planned today so kind of bummed about that...but I guess it is time to go make pancakes and get ready to build a snowman! Later...when the sun comes out...

The Princess is 21 Months Old!

Well, she was on the 2nd anyway. Just a short three months and this girl will be 2. TWO! Why can't time slow down?

Yes, that girl has big feet. HUGE infact. Size 7, a few of her 6's are still OK but mostly a 7 now. And yes, that girl is tall. Taller than her brothers at this age by quite a bit.

Harper loves her Elmo. She loves her Elephant. And right now she is loving the Chief's too.

Snow...still waiting...

We have yet to have any snow or winter weather this year. I suppose I should be careful what I wish for but isn't it about time? I guess 30% chance of light flurrys last night or this morning meant this...kind of sad. Now they say we might get 5-7 inches Monday or Tuesday. Maybe that will be snowman worthy. I think the East and the West are getting all the good snow this year and they surely are ready to share.

It has been an uneventful weekend around here. We had tentative plans to go to dinner with some one I went to high school with as her husband is being transfered here, but that didn't happen. Probably good since Bob/Betty had to go home early due to potential weather and we couldn't get a sitter. Then we were going to watch the Chief's game with friends today and due to me not knowing when his parents were coming/going I was again too late in getting a sitter...so Keith is watching the game and I am home with the peeps. It has been a pretty quiet weekend for us around here. I suppose that is good, but I don't know what to do when there isn't a lot going on. Heck, yesterday I read nearly and entire book. The Help. If you have not read it you must. Best book I have read in years. Couldn't put it down. I guess this week a lot more will go on and who knows when I will have time to read a whole book in a day again! Back to the routine of basketball, church and a full week of school!

Now, back to see how the Chief's are doing. Maybe they will surprise us, the Seahawks sure did!

Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa

Keith's parents came up for a bit to visit and share Christmas gifts with the kids.
