Boo To You!
Davis gave his teacher a little gift today. This little album I put together last night and one of the jars of popcorn I posted earlier is what he gave her. The album contains one page per year (starting with her first child's first Halloween) and runs through 2009. You could easily add more pages too. Now...to make one for us too!

Parent's Day with Carson!
Today was parents day at Carson's preschool. Since Keith does not work on Thursdays we both got to attend and my parents watched Harper. He got to hammer golf tees into a pumpkin, that was loads of fun. The whole class got to sing with Miss Cyndi, Keith video tapped some of that. Then for activities we graphed (on the floor graph) the different sizes of pumpkins and talked about more and less. Then we decorated pumpkins by gluing things to them. Finally we played with the parachute and bounced faux soft pumpkins on it. It was a fun day. Tomorrow Keith is off again so we can go to Davis' school for his costume parade and Halloween party!
Harper gets a winter hat!
Monga got Harper a hat to wear, it has been a bit chilly out so she found her this one, it looks like a kitty. Kind of appropriate since she was called Miss Kitty in utero. We also had fun poking a Binky in Harper's mouth. None of my kids have really liked Binky's, I push them in...they spit them out...and so the cycle goes...but she seems to want to chew on it, so maybe it will make for a nice teether and not go to waste after all!
Halloween Treats!
I keep planning to start a blog of all the things that I make...and one day I still might, but since I am generally lucky to remember to take a photo of anything I am not sure how quickly that is gonna happen. So, for now...wallah, two Halloween themed items! The jars are from Hobby Lobby and have vinyl clings on them. Buttons are hot glued around the rim and the recipe for the orange goblin corn they are filled with is tied to them
. I used two for boo gifts and one for Davis' teacher. The pumpkin treat bag is made of paper, and is borrowed from a tutorial found on the split coast stamper website. I did not come up with this idea on my own. Gina, my Mom and I made almost 30 of these for all the teachers at our preschool.
I do have a few other things I have made that I hope to post soon.
Enjoy!

It's Monday!
It is Monday. I think Monday is my favorite day of the week. I assure you when I worked I did not feel that way at all!
I thought I would share a weekend shot of the princess loving her high chair. Still a carrot and banana fan, but I think she will eat anything really...those are just the favorites! And, of course, she is still happy!
Had a busy and fun few days. Friday was Holiday Mart. Mom. Jeni and I were there from when it opened until close to 3. Went home and then met friends for dinner and back to the Mart until just before 9 when I had to go home to take care of a sad baby. I really just need two full days in there I think!
Saturday Davis had a birthday party and Keith went golfing with my Dad and his cousin Greg and a friend of his. It was a beautiful day. Then that night we went to NOLF.
Sunday was a funky rainy day. We did lots of cleaning (yes, I know my life is super cool) and had planned to go to Trunk or Treat at the preschool but the boys got in trouble so that didn't happen. Why on earth they took everything out of their dressers and closet and dump it on the floor is beyond me?! How is that fun for anyone....
