Living in my car.
I think I might just move in there.
8ish, leave to take Davis to school. Get in line. Wait. Drop off. Leave. Go to preschool
8:40 get to preschool. Get Harper and Carson out of car. Carson takes himself to class. He does not need me after all, he is 4 and has this all figured out. Harper sees her room, pushes away from me and walks in. Apparently at 16 months she too has it figured out.
Run two errands and speed back to school, get there at 10:15. Get Harper.
Hang out and play for an hour. Get Carson at 11:15.
Have lunch, get Harper down for a nap just after 12.
Chuck comes over just before 1, so that I can go get Davis.
Early release day, kids get out at 2.
Granted, this was my first time and I could have gotten there at 1:30 instead of 1:15, but got
there and sat in line until the kids came out.
Gathered Davis and some neighbor kids.
Delivered them home, came home with a friend.
Had snack, played. It is now 4. Friend leaves at 4:30.
Need to start dinner and have soccer practice at 6.
Only to hurry home to get ready for bed....hope for time to read books, and lights out at 8.
Then get ready to do it all again.
Really...is this how it works? There has to be another option...maybe I need a new car...one with a massage chair and a pedicure station.
One tired momma really thinking that surely Davis can drive himself at 7, can't he?
(no I am not serious...maybe 8...)
Harper's first day of "school".
This is the best one I got.
Look at my baby...looking awfully grown up. She is so much more independent than her brothers were at this age.
Carson turned around and headed in the door. He went to his class, got his hands clean, put his bag away and got started on his day...Harper was out smelling the flowers.
Then once we got inside Harper walked right into her room and started playing too. Didn't look back, didn't cry. Didn't care that I wasn't with her. Every kid was crying in the room and she was looking at them like what a drag you people are...I am here to get my play on so lets go.
I had to pick her up at 10:15 and then Carson at 11:15 so we had an hour of playtime at the school.
She loved the magnifying glasses. She played with them a long time, and then she wore it like a purse.
And a few tight hugs for Harper were had.

We know how to have fun.
Well, Keith and I had a wild and crazy Saturday night cleaning house. Do we know how to have fun or what? I really am so lucky to have someone that stays up late with me to clean...much more fun to do it with someone instead of alone.
We are having a BBQ Sunday afternoon for my mom's group from church....when Keith asked me how many were coming I wasn't sure if I should tell him the truth or not, but when I said oh about 100 he looked at me like I was insane. I said, well it is about the same as it was the last few years so 100 isn't too many really...is it?
It will be fun, and heck the house is clean so we need to have people over!
Best get to bed, we will be up again before we know it. We have got one kid coughing, one with infected ears and another that is surely going to pee his bed any minute since he drank way too much before bedtime.
Good times.

Aldersgate Meet the Teacher Day
As you can see, Carson is settling right in. Carson is the "train" this year. This will be his final year at Aldersgate. Hard to believe. More sap to come on that I am sure.
And so is Harper. Although, she does seem to really like the big kid room...should try out her room.
She is the kangaroo. I still can't believe I am going to take her...but if I don't I can't spend any time with Davis at his school, so her and Carson will be here together one day...surely I can do it...
Harper and Cole.
Ms. Kim loves Harper.
They loved the playground and didn't want to leave it. I know they will have so much fun there, it is a pretty awesome place after all.
