Yes, I did it again. I said I wouldn't, but I did. I loved our Kindie class and parents last year so much that I thought how fun it could be again...but I am not so sure. 1st grade...not as fun I don't think. We had our parent meeting tonight to plan parties and I tell you what some of these people were not fun. I am going to assume they were all tired or something, but it seems like they were not into having these class parties for the kids...I just kept thinking, we "get to" do this. GET TO people, there are so many people who don't get to do this with their kids for a whole host of reasons...and it was like pulling teeth. The same group of people will do all the parties, which is fine--they will be great and we will work great together, but I just wonder what is it that has the rest of the crew so down or out of it or uninterested? Or maybe I just had such great Kindie parents last year that this is the norm and I had a little bit of a "not the norm" group before. Fingers crossed...this had better get funner.
