Davis, Carson and Great Grandma
One month after having a baby is not the best picture to have taken of yourself...but I am glad we did. This is the last time I saw my grandmother, May 2006. And this morning my grandmother (my Dad's mom) passed away. She had said she was ready to go and she was a determined woman. It is so strange to think that we no longer have grandparents. End of a generation. I am so sad that she never got to meet Harper, but so glad that she meet my boys. I am going to miss her unexpected phone calls, they always began the same way: "Hello Nickel, this is your old grandmother". Our conversations generally centered around how she thought my kids looked like her. Ironic since she is a tiny petite red head. When Harper was born with red hair though she was certain she looked the most like her.
She will be missed.
So sorry to hear you lost your grandma, Nicole. Keeping your family in my prayers.
