Bopa feels better!

After pain off and on for two months the night before we arrived was the worst and then the day after we arrived the pain got better. Dad had his gall bladder taken out. The Surgeon said it was definitely a bad one and was like getting a balloon full of rocks out of him. These pics are the day after the surgery and he looks good. So much better than when we got here. And this morning he looks even better and while the Dr says 7-10 days and a month until he is 100% my Dad says oh in a day or two I will be fine. Hmm...we shall see. Just glad he is better.

The Princess is 15 Months Old!

Well, she was on the 2nd when we got here...but that day was a little busy with the whole having surgery thing for Bopa. Harper is talking so much and is such a happy girl and will answer your questions with a head nod. Cats are a favorite, she sees them and says kitty cat, meow meow. She gets tired and says night night. She loves to eat, and yet is so skinny. She still has a little bit of her frankenstein walk left, but it is less and less each day and that makes mama sad. Love that little walk. Mom and Dad got her favorite car to have when we are here and when she saw it she squealed and clapped. So cute, she has gotten may rides in it so far and her Dad and brothers are taking her to the park in it soon since there is a park at the end of my parents street.
We are so blessed to have such a happy princess.

The princess loves her Daddy.

A little late night snuggling with Daddy. Harper has not adjusted to sleeping away from home well yet so she has been quite the night owl!

Swimming Anyone?

Carson is lucky that both of his grandparents have swimming pools at their homes. But, Keith's parents have a pool cover you can walk on...and my parents do not. Carson of course took a walk on my parent cover today and the water was cold. I think it was a surprise for him...and for us. Afterward he asked for a warm bath...I guess this was his swimming substitute.

The Saber's Last Baseball Game

Waiting to bat.
We don't need a mit to bat.....but we are ready, just in case!

Twins? Hmm....are Ryan and Keith dating?

Up at bat!

Running to first.

Harper, running away....

Being caught by Jeni.

Harper being spoiled by Josh and Jessie, I think they want a baby sister....
We will miss the rest of baseball season, but a trip to Monga and Bopas makes it worth it!

Carson Golfs!

Just a few pictures of my little man at his first golf lesson.

And...we are here!

Well, it was a long day....but better than we had expected and we made it. It was only 54 degrees last night when we got in, brrr! I was not prepared for that. It is only mid 70's today and beautiful.

Our first leg of our flight the boys sat together and we sat with Harper and everyone behaved...we didn't know who our children were or how that happened but it was a good thing! We had lots of treats and entertainment and learned that Harper loves twizzlers.

The second half, well the little people were DONE, and really I don't blame them it was nearly 1AM our time by the time we got to my parents house. Harper did sleep on this leg but only after a big crying fit and a cranky woman who must not have children glaring at me. It is a good thing I had some sanity left or I think I would have said something to her. The looks and head shaking, really...I am sorry I interrupted your quiet "kindle" time. And about half way on the second flight Davis said if it is going to take much longer I want to go home. Well buddy...that ain't how it works. And then he said is it going to take this long to get home too? Uh...yes???

So we arrive and my Mom tells me she had been in the ER all night the night before with my Dad, then the crazy woman went to work for a bit and then back to get us. Dad is to have surgery on Wed, but now has a fever and might need to go back to the ER now. Gall Bladder stuff, nothing overly serious, but he is in a lot of pain and needs to get this done now I think.

In other news...Keith and I went to get our eyes checked this AM. Doesn't everyone fly several states away to go to the eye doctor? Yes, we do! Strange...but no change so that is good. While we were gone my kids were having cereal. They had spilt some and were cleaning it up with the vacuum. Seems good, right? Well...we return for the eye Dr only to find them vacuuming their BOWLS of cereal up, the ones they were eating from with milk....so instead of putting them in the sink to clean, they vacuumed them clean. Creative and resourceful...maybe, but oy I think I am gonna have to go get the Monga a new vacuum!
