Snow White

Meet Snow White and her mismatched pink slippers stolen from two other princesses. One of them must be the crown owner too.
Man, heels are rough to walk in. Best to learn em young.

Not happy when I say take off the shoes...I don't want her to fall outside...
This look I am gonna see a lot I am afraid. I am a total buzz kill.
But, if I ask the princess to smile she does perform.

OK..FINE crazy mother. Shoes are off. But, I wasn't gonna fall...ah, wait until she is in her 30's and realizes her mother did know something...why must we all take that long to figure that out...

Visiting Preschool

We went to check out her new room. She made a bee line for the dress. And when it came time to leave it was quite a melt down getting that thing off.

This is Harper with a cold. The same cold that her and I had for a month. The one that made me so sick I had to be for drugs and then with them 48 hours later...better...poof...
This lady was impressed with the addition of the hat.
Serving Daddy his coffee

She will make a great barista. Maybe the first one in a princess dress and sequined hat.

When you take a break from coffee you go ride the horse.
Woah Nelly.
Then you go outside after your "I want my princess dress" tantrum and ride the cat.
Phew. Visitation done.

Does it still fit?

I have spent the better part of the past month cleaning out drawers, etc. to get rid of things we no longer can use...I was having her try on hats. I should say hat since we only got to this one. I think it is a bit tiny, but she liked it. She also liked being naked I guess...

Movie night with the Dombrosky Boys

Rio--as you can see from me trying the settings on my new camera it does crazy things to the movie! They could have watched it on the big TV downstairs but apparently this was more fun?

Us and the Boys--1st Day of School 2011

Thanks to David for the great pic!

Soon.

I will update this thing soon. Maybe this weekend. Between the over committed and over scheduled people in this house lots of things are going by the way side...that and my almost (one month from today!) 8 year old computer thief has taken over my PC. He has suggested that he get a laptop for his birthday--gee..why didn't I think of that...what else do you get an 8 year old? When I laughed at him he said OK, what about an Ipad (roll eyes and laughs at him again) an Ipod? Hmm...ask your grandparents for everything you want, much better odds than getting it from me since I have none of these things for myself. He then asked if he could sell all of this things to "raise" money to buy what he wants. I said what are you going to sell? He said I don't know, my shoes? Is there a hot market for used little boy shoes? Man, if that would work I am going to sell mine for a trip to Tahiti. Alone. One way.

Big garage sale Fri/Sat, going on week 3 of a killer cold/allergies/sinus infection...or whatever it is that is trying to kill me. My husband is "considering" letting me have antibiotics. Seriously, who made that man the drug nazi...you would think there is some perk to being married to a Dr...but no, no there is not. I called today and he said "I will pull your chart and get back to you". No "thank you for putting up with me, helping me through med school, birthing my three children, and generally keeping my life organized"...but I am so grateful I made the list of "he will get back to me". All the compassion, concern and bed side manner is reserved for patients and his wife gets nada. Cranky? Tired? Really needs some sleep? Yes, yes and yes.
