For those of you that live here you know how much kids love Deanna Rose, for those of you that don't Deanna Rose is a children's farm that has lots of animals and other fun things for the kids--in fact, there is fundraising going on now for an old fashioned ice cream parlor and the kids are trilled about that. Ironically they are equally thrilled about the old time bank that will be coming soon too. I suppose we all love money and ice cream....and goats of course. It all makes sense.
We had fun going there on Monday with our friends Ms Jan and her kids Avery and Ayden. It was a little overcast but turned into a beautiful day. That evening we went to the park by our house and walked around the lake and played on the playground too. If only every day in Kansas was that beautiful.
