This is where we stayed.
This is the view towards the ocean.
The view of the patio. Nice place for drinks, the heaters and fireplaces were needed--note to self, pack warmer if we go back! And pack for biking and rock climbing!
And inside...this is where you go when it rains I guess. We drank here too.
The fish hopper, so good we went back twice...yum!
Pics along the road by the hotel.
It could not have been that much better before...but it was cold and rainy one day and I got some boots here so whatever you need...a book, a shot glass, a Christmas ornament, some socks or a pair of boots, they got it at After the Quake. Of course I had to get the Christmas ornament there too...
Steinbeck everywhere. Makes me want to go read Cannery Row. I think I missed that one. Should have brought it with me...
Very generous wine tasting that ended up being free...but really, the wine was not that great but since we had been drinking all afternoon it seemed pretty good...
Smelled yummy!
If you read Lisa See this place made me go hmm...
Our room was nice, and I failed to take pictures of the fresh orchids, the fireplace or the bonsai tree (all things I am not used to having in a hotel room) but I did take this picture of the stuffed beaver...why was it here? Another first for a hotel room.
Down the road.
Pacific Grove/Lovers Point
Those were my favorite shoes. I am sad I took them here...I thought we were going to Carmel shopping...but instead we rock climbed...next time wear rock climbing shoes.
He makes friends wherever we go.
Keith wants these trees. Guess we have to move to CA after all. I have only begged to move since we met...maybe now...
