The Princess has a Party

For Harper's first birthday we had a few people over for lunch, and of course cake. We had everything ready and the princess was still sleeping. Here are a few pics of the pink festivities.

Just before she woke up Keith showed up with beer. What first birthday party would be complete with out it?

And the three of us. I was sick. Had been sick for days leading up to the big day too and boy do I look it. Ugh. For Carson's first birthday Keith had the stomach flu so at least I was around. Unfortunately my Mom is now sick...hopefully everyone else made it and didn't get my germs.

She likes cake on her face, up her nose, in her ear and definitely on her head.

After a little clean up we are ready for gifts! I told people not to bring them...but people don't listen.

She was very interested in the stairs, ribbon and wrapping paper.

The Lego's were a big hit too.

It was a great day but the princess was worn out. Sometimes I think baby number three just doesn't get to be a baby. No consistent schedule, so few naps, she just really has to hang tough and do what the older peeps are doing. Good thing for us she is so laid back.
