My friend Jen organized a hay ride at Heritage Park tonight. It was a great idea and lots of fun. There was a ride right before us and it turned out to be people we knew, and there was a ride after us in the dark. They block them out ever two hours and you have one of the shelters and a fire and they provide the marshmallows, roasting sticks and cider, we did dinner too. Pretty awesome deal for $5.50 a person!

Roasting the weenies. My kids ended up dipping them in the ashes a few too many times...they need more practice I think.
Harper in her get up, she looked cute but got dirty, sticky and her hat was on all funny towards the end.

Playground after dark. The glow sticks made it even more fun.
Going home made them all sad, but after two back to back birthday parties (one soccer and one tae kwon do) and this I think it was time to call it a night...surely they will all sleep well!
