Rocky Mountain High...and all that jazz.

This was the sign that welcomed Jan and I off the plane. It was written on a pizza box. I keep asking Danielle for pictures (she takes more than I do...hard to believe, but yes it is true) so I can show you us being flashed by the paparazzi but alas no photos.

I lugged a bunch of sunflowers on the plane with me. There are hourly flights to Denver out of here, why this one was so busy we did not know...until some boy looking like he escaped from a frat house (or never left since he looked to old to be a traditional collage student) yelled BEER FEST! Yes, we went to Denver during Beer Fest. Me, with the sunflowers and Jan so pregnant she looked like she swallowed a basketball. For real, people kept asking us if we were going to beer fest. It was funny.

We got to Denver Thursday evening, spent Friday downtown shopping. We went to the biggest Forever 21 (which I am not anywhere near 21, but love the store anyway) and I wish we had time to do a montage of clothing from eras gone by. There was a whole section that screamed like a virgin Madonna to me...but not enough hours in the day for that this trip.

Later Friday night we went back to the airport for another friend of Danielles...it was a long and painful trip as we circled the airport 826 times while the girl was lost at the bus terminal. Jan wanted to leave her.

The next day (Saturday) was the bridal shower...and I did take pictures there...

Danielle however wants to be a princess, I do not. Wonder Woman, fo sho, princess...too much work.

This was funny. She loved the gift. She loved it so much she re-opened it again later with just as much glee as the first time.

The next morning, Danielle said "I am not going to shower", so I didn't...she lied, all fresh and showered Danielle I do not like you.

After this we went and did some shopping outside of town and took one of her friends to the airport. Headed back to her house where Bryan had dinner ready for us and we hung out until it was time to call it a night...had to leave at o'dark:30 to catch a flight home...it was a great trip that went much too quickly. But, December and the wedding will be here before we know it!
