Snow day?

So, they (they being the school district) called today a snow day. Don't you kind of have to have it snowing out for that? I am so confused....I have a lot to learn about going to school I think. We are to get a big snow storm, but it has not started yet. It is crazy cold out there like yesterday though...I need to get out, but brrr....

A quick update on miss Harper for those wondering, last night another night of up and down with fevers. She has not been herself since the weekend, and fevers since Sunday, but this morning she woke up without one and gave me a grin. The first one I have seen in days and it was precious. Fingers crossed we are turning a corner.

Now...what to do with this "snow day". I could have let the kids sleep in instead of getting them up and dressed...drat, so much for using my "look out the window and if I see snow check the news" method.
