I have had little time to get things done lately as you can tell from the sad state of the blog. I have updated more on Facebook though and thought I would post a few here (for those that don't FB).
This mornings post: PSA: Letting your kids take silly putty to bed=bad idea
This morning I go into the boys room to get them up. I thought man they had slept in, not a peep from them. BOY WAS I WRONG. I walk in and it was like silly putty threw up in there. I got them dressed and went on with my day. I have not returned....I just don't even know what to do...then as if this was not bizarre enough I get a note from Davis' teacher saying that the silly putty Davis took to school (yes he snuck it) helped him today with staying focused. She did say it got stuck in his pocket so to check before I do laundry. Funny...if only his teacher saw his bed right now she would cringe. So...do I go get more of this evil stuff if it is a good thing at school or ban it all together...
A post from Wednesday: Took D to his pre-op appt at CMH and part of the tour included a discussion of medical equipment. They would hold something up, say a stethoscope, and the kids would guess or say what it was. When they held up the blood pressure cuff D said “sphygmomanometer”. How I wish I had a photo of the overly proud cheesy grin on his Daddy’s face.
