It is Spring in Kansas--and what could that mean but thunderstorms and tornado warnings. Last night there was one child up every hour all night long. Momma is sleepy. How Keith does not participate in the evening escapades I do not know.
Today Carson and Harper and I took Davis to school and came home to make food to take to church and get some things together for a fundraiser that is tomorrow night, then we got Davis went to church for our last Mom's group meeting of the year, and my last meeting as co-leader. Wow those two years went fast! We came home and regrouped and got ready for our pre-op tour of Children's Mercy. Davis did great and seems to be OK with the idea of surgery. Afterward we went to Peachwave for a "treat". I wish I had taken a pic of the yogurt "cup" or mound that Davis created. It was scary looking and he was so pleased with himself.
Now all the peeps are in bed and poker is in my basement...oh yes, the weekly poker night. It would take a tornado to stop it...and no I am not asking for one.
Fingers crossed everyone sleeps tonight!
We have similar issues here with little people up all throughout the night and big people that just don't "hear them"....not sure how that works.
ReplyDeleteGlad things went well at the pre-op party tonight. He will love the slushy machine when he is done!
We recently discovered Peachwave. Yum...although next time I am bringing my own bag of gummy bears as I think H eats more of those than ice cream.....
