HyVee can really make you angry.

A few items not pictured--more TP, 10 more Smart Ones, two ice cream. Pictured, 6 Pringles (they were $1.50 each and I had $1.00 off of 2, so I got 6), 4 sugar (1.99 each and I had .50 off each one), 15 Smart Ones ($2 off 5 and $4 off 10 coupons), I did two sets of the 10 for 10 sale (pasta/rice, etc) and all else was on sale and/or matched with a coupon too. All of this for just over $60, not too bad.

I almost never shop at HyVee, before today it was just b/c it is out of the way...but after today it is b/c I swear they don't have it together.

First I went to the store in Olathe and got some items...after checking out I realized they didn't use all my coupons nor did I get all sales prices nor did they give me bag credit. I realized this on my way home. I was SOL on the coupons and bags but went back to another store to get the prices adjusted (this after calling and confirming it was OK to go to another store). So I go to the OP store....is it OK, no--no it is not, I need to go to Olathe. Fortunately the Mgr Yousef was helpful and adjusted the prices. The checkout there was better--all prices were correct. However, I somehow made it home without two items I paid for....from now on it is going to have to be one heck of a deal and I will not leave the checkout line until the receipt is reviewed.

So other than that I think I got a good deal. Not as good as those crazy extreme coupon ladies though--check it out on TLC if you don't know what I am talking about. I am in awe of how a 2K grocery bill can be reduced to a few dollars...and even more in awe of how crazy they are and the stock piles they have. If you are gonna be that nuts I sure as heck hope you are filling a food bank!
