Last night we had one heck of a storm. I was not with it enough to take decent pictures, gladly neighbors/friends were (thanks for letting me "borrow" these from facebook--and Terri's title). The second pic is from a house one street over. Many lost windows, we were lucky we didn't. However, when Keith thought our driveway was covered in mulch I had to tell him...um...that is our roof not our mulch. Of all the crazy storms we have been in this one rivals the ice storm of 99 in terms of scary factor. Then we lived closer to downtown and watch the sky light up with blown transformers all night. This time we just felt like we were being shot at and our deck, gutters, lights, trim and roof look like it too. Most of all I feel bad for my parents--wish we had pulled their car in the garage earlier in the day when they said we were going to have a hail storm, but it came on so fast and furious we couldn't do anything. They have quite a bit of damage...but some neighbors lost all the windows in their home so many people had it worse. And we are all OK so that is all that matters.
In fact, Carson slept through it--poor guy has been sick. That kid has been sick for so long. Right now he seems a little perkier, but he has slept all day (or really pretty much since Thursday this round). That kid has not been 100% since March 7th--hopefully we are about past this!
