Where is Harper?

Ta Da! There she is. She was a trooper today since she went shopping with me! Yes, another crazy grocery trip. After watching extreme couponing I can't decide if I am inspired or inadequate to do this...jury still out on that one. It does make me feel better to know that there was a lot of fraud committed by one of the people on the show. Coupon fraud--who knew that was a real thing! Go to jillcataldo.com if you want to read more on the fraud from the show--very interesting...if you care about that sorta thing.

Well today I hit Target and PC. Tomorrow Hen House(the last store that doubles coupons around here I think) and then I will take a few weeks off again...well unless there is something I "have to have". What I don't have to have is cereal! Keith told me to get some, he wanted variety, well here you go--now when he gets home we shall see if we have enough cereal!

Stuff not pictured--milk, soda and more scooby fruit snacks! Carson is having a scooby party and they are on sale and had coupons at PC so I bought a bunch of scooby fruit snacks.

Price Chopper--chicken chicken chicken. 9.22lbs for $10.71. Not too bad...but I think Hen House might have an even better deal tomorrow. I am a bit worried about why chicken has been so cheap lately....not worried enough to shop buying it of course...but why??? Are there too many out there? Kool-Aid, great for an upcoming party and then some. It was 10 for $1.00 and with coupons I got them for about .03 each. I got a lot...Kool-Aid anyone? I think this is another reminder that my kids eat too much crap...I promise I do buy produce and healthy stuff, just seem to not get that in the bigger trips.

Target--lots free or money makers at Target this week. I try to print out the "free" list each week from Kansas City Mamas or check TotallyTarget to get them if they are something we can use or donate. Skittles, those big bags were .19 each and will somehow work their way into Carson's Scooby party too. The gum was free. The People mag was free with the skinny pepsi, which was free too! The 4 deoderants, 2 toothpastes, 1 Visine and 2 oil of olay face washes were all free or money makers.

All of this for $107, and I still have a $5 gift card from Target to use later! The end result was pretty satisfying and then I went and got gas...after putting $75 in my car (with a 25 cents off per gallon credit of course) I felt a bit defeated. Man that was a lot of money just to burn-literally burn.
