That pink stuff is "brains" (Vanilla ice cream rolled in Oreo crumbs and then frosted with pink icing. Can you say SHHUGAH?
He took blowing these candles out pretty seriously!
Well, it was quite a party! We had 22 kids and lots of fun! When everyone arrived they got glow in the dark tattoos, and then everyone decorated a pumpkin. While the "potato head pumpkin" idea was a good one, some of the pumpkins were hard to push plastic into--as you can see some of the adults (Dean and Terri) grimacing as they inserted their parts! Then we at dinner and after that we went outside for a few games--pass the pumpkins, marshmallow bobbing and ghost racing. Once the games were done we came in for cake, ice cream and presents and then everyone got their goody bags (that had flashlights in them) and they went out on a "ghost hunt" with their lights. It was a bit of work, but it was well worth it for the fun! And, I have a few months until I have to do it again as Carson is insisting on a dinosaur themed birthday! Carson's first was car themed, second was monkeys and third was incredible hulk...I think dinosaurs might be my favorite theme picked for him so far!
As for Davis parties they have been:
1st-Pumpkin
2nd - Farm
3rd - Train
4th - Spiderman
5th - Power Ranger
6th - Spooky
7th - He is talking Star Wars. Which is fine, but he knows nothing about it...nor does his mother...I guess I have time to do some research!
