Our last evening at the coast...

It was a beautiful day and the fog rolled in again in the evening. It was still warm (70's?) but we didn't know it going out so we bundled everyone up. Carson stripped down immediately and got in the water.
H strolled in her car.

Davis putting his treasures in the hood.

Carson wondering if he needed to put anything in there too.

Davis decided to get in. I think he was cold. But a few minutes later he was in his swimsuit.

Still chillin'.

And Davis takes her for a drive. A long one. One that ended in him abandoning her and chasing seagulls for more than an hour.

Carson pretending he built it. Also dying to tear it down.

Still riding along.

But since this seagull madness was taking so long we let her out to play.

And once I talked him into giving up the seagull chase he decided to take me up on my many suggestions to practice his handwriting. Of course, I had suggested it all week long not right then...but it was the time he chose I guess.

And he wrote this, so I guess it was the perfect time. I love you too Davis.
