Outside the aquarium on the beach there was a little beach exploration tent set up. Keith was pretty jazzed to see the microscope since he was in research before deciding to go to Med school.
You could tell this was put on by some local high school students, but it was a great idea. They had plankton in the microscopes and they had different sand from many different beaches--from AK to Turkey. It was neat to see them all side by side and it made me want to go to Turkey....and Hawaii...really anywhere with a beach and I am in.
This showed how the waves move the sand and a girl showed Carson how the waves differ in summer and winter. 
Just a pic of Seaside beach. It is more grassy. Cannon has monoliths and cool tide pools and Lincoln has rocks (aka Agate Beach). 
Bopa and Harper in the Prom. This was build in 1920, and there is an 8 mile wall along the beach here from the Prom on down both sides.

Man we are gettin' old. I need to find the picture of us here from 1995 to compare.
D is getting big. I need to find his pics from 2005 and 2007 to compare to this year too.
