2009 Kindergarten Winter Party

Here is Davis and Mrs. O'keeffe. She has been a long time sub for their class since the week of Thanksgiving as his teacher is out on leave for a medical procedure, but she will be back in January. The kids miss Mrs. R, but the loved Mrs. O too so it all worked out great.

Here is Davis, performing for his audience.

And, here is Lucee. Davis loves her, and really she is so darn cute how could you not. I missed the picture that was just before this of him hugging her. So sweet.

Yeah, sugary snacks and juice boxes. Life is good.

Party is over and things are cleaned up and off we go!

The party was a success thanks to all the awesome Kdg parents. They all do so much that it runs itself, and that is so nice!

Our craft was a cute reindeer (made of our kiddos hands and foot) that Lucee's mom brought. That is what Davis is holding in the first picture. We had four game stations thanks to Michelle D for providing those. We had a snowman photo backdrop another parent brought and some awesome food. Grape salad, bagels with green cream cheese and strawberries to look like a wreath and some sugar cookies the kids decorated...and the marshmallow snowmen of course. So a little sugar and carbs, who doesn't love that?! We gave a book to the teacher called 12 days of Winter that Lucee's mom read and we had a wrapped book exchange.
It was a lot of fun, so glad we could all be there!
Keith and I also got to take gifts to the preschool teachers today--but since a few of you might be getting one of those too...I can't very well post a picture until after Christmas now can I?! Yes, I know the not knowing is killing you.
