And to all a GOOD night!
On Sunday evening a group of friends and neighbors got together to go caroling. Not many houses, just one inparticular. The whole idea started from my sweet friend Betty. She and I are in a group together at church and we were talking about what we could do for this family to make this Christmas extra special and she suggested going caroling. She was going to get candles and sheet music and I was going to send and evite. From there it snowballed. I sent out the evite and people passed the word along and we ended up with 150 or so people that came to carol and an ourpouring of special gifts and donations to make this Christmas one we will all remember.

This family is an amazing family. The inspire me. Their faith is indescribable. The Mom has MS. They lost their first child at birth. They have a first grader who is 6 and another who is 5 that is bravely battling a very aggressive and ugly cancer. Some families are given so much to handle and it makes me ask why and it makes me even more in awe of them because they don't. Again, their faith is indescribable and it makes me want to be a better person.
This was a night I know I won't ever forget. Thank you to all that came. I know for me, I walked away feeling like the one who was blessed by being a part of something that really expressed the true meaning of Christmas.
If you would pray for this family, they would be so thankful. Here is a link to the caring bridge page. The password is cheerios. http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/bradenh
