Do you think he is tired?

Carson has had quite a day. To say he is a bit tired is an understatement. This boy had a morning playdate and an afternoon playdate and never ever stopped moving, not for a second. Then he sat down to watch a cartoon while I finished dinner and this is what happened. I wonder if this is what my Dad meant when he used to say "If you wanna play, you gotta pay". Poor kid. Fingers crossed he goes to bed and sleeps soon too.

Carson and Bill

Bill came over today to play. He loves to play with Bill. If only he loved to wear clothes too....

Birthday Party 3.0 (the real deal)

It is his real birthday. He got presents from his siblings, his JeniChuck his Grandma & Grandpa and his parents. He also got two cakes. He was super cranky and by this point all I wanted to do was to put him to bed. I think birthdays need to be just done once.......or maybe I am just getting old.

Harper gave him a Dora coloring book. Davis gave him some Super Mario videos, Keith and I got him some Trio blocks and his JeniChuck got him a cool baseball toy for outside and his Grandma and Grandpa got him a crayola toy and a Dr. Suess book and an KU outfit and a little car. Our little man is pretty spoiled.

4-27-10 Carson turning 4!

I have always taken a picture of the kids when they first get up in the morning. I think it best to let them actually wake up first next time.

While they were waking up I found Harper in her closet having a good time playing.

Then I went back and got some pictures of a more awake Carson and a SUPER cheesy Davis claiming to be 7. I guess he was practicing for October.

There is also a cute pic of the cookies I took to school as treats for Carson's big day. They are batman cookies with bat rings tied on to them. Cute and tasty!

Monga & Bopa Go Home

Some pictures taken the morning before Monga and Bopa left. They left on Sunday...we miss them. As you can see there is bow drama with Harper...she won't leave them alone anymore.

Birthday Party 2.0 (Red Robin)

For some reason our boys think that Red Robin is where one must go for their birthday, so we do just that. Here is the dinner celebration Carson had the night after party 1.0. He got four cherries since he turned four. I imagine that I am gonna need a whole bucket for all of my cherries if this is how it works for my next birthday...eek...I don't even like cherries that much...

Welcome to Carson's BATCAVE

Here are the kids playing games--a little airplane flying, a little freeze dance, some musical chairs or a "bat walk" if you will, and a pin the bat symbol on batman. Our game plan had to be altered since it was raining and since our little man decided he didn't want villains at the party. We had planned for some water balloon action and for villains to be captured and wrapped in TP. So we had plan B instead, seemed to work out.

Carson took pictures with his guests, some dressed up some did not but everyone who came got a cape and mask. The girls got pink of course!

Notice Russ wearing the bugles on his hands. The "catwoman" claws. Those did fit little fingers much better than they did mine. Kind of random to serve them with cake/punch/ice cream, but they were cute and some kids liked them.

I think the party was a success. Carson was so excited about it and had a great time. And I...well I am kind of glad it is over. Not glad he is growing up so quickly but man we do a lot of parties in April over here...guess I didn't plan that out too well now did I?

Bat Girl

Of course she had to have an outfit for the party. Sadly she also had a fever and the evil ear infection bothering her again. Still cute, even with a fever!

The calm before the storm.

Davis and Bopa playing I-Touch and Harper and Carson playing with toys. Just hours before the party chaos begins.
