I surrender. Hopefully September will be more successful...or restful..or just less crazy......lots of pictures to post and stuff to update on...but right now I gotta go make cookies for a school event and try to sleep a few hours before another crazy day...Keith asked me when it was going to slow down...hmm......

Feeling Old.
This morning Carson tells me that he doesn't like getting up so early for school...when asked why he said it made him feel old...really...does he want to go there? Let's talk about feeling old...let's talk about my crazy fantasy of sleeping all night one night without someone having a bad dream, wandering around, getting lost, peeing the bed, feeling lonely, or just plain wanting to sleep in my bed. I laughed at him and said just wait...old is coming...he said is that in 2nd grade?

First day of school 2011 - Carson Kdg and Davis 2nd Grade!

He was so anxious at back to school night, so glad he was not the first day! Made it easier to leave him!
This whine made me not feel so sad to leave him...how many times a day do you see this...oy!

Stand for Spencer
We were honored to spend Tuesday morning with Beth and two of her boys welcoming home a local hero who gave his life in a helicopter crash two weeks ago. Several local men died in this crash, 30 in all. It was so nice to see so many people standing out to welcome Spencer. Back to School Carnival!
Davis went home not feeling well. Carson shut the place down. A saw a glimpse of my future and it made me feel old.
Playdate! The last Monday before school started
and Jacob was back in town. The kids had a great time! It was rainy most of the day, not cold..but Harper insisted on her wearing sweats.
