Pumpkin Seeds, Chiefs and More time with Gus!

Gus played Pokemon.

Watched the Chief's game, roasted pumpkin seeds and colored during halftime.

Davis loves Harper.

Harper really likes to hold someones hand in the car. Often mine while I am driving. This is a much better arrangement!

7 Pumpkins for Davis!

We started doing this when he was a baby...one of these days there are going to be too many pumpkins to take a picture with I am afraid!

Fritz's!

How could we go to Shawnee without going to Fritz's for lunch! It was a good stop after having pictures. And, yes we did let the kids eat suckers before lunch...we are such weak parents...does that make us suckers as well?

2010 Family Pictures

We had some family pictures taken this morning at Antioch Park with Amanda. There are a few here that we took while she was taking others and of course one with Gus!

Pumpkin Carving Time!

Power tools are needed to carve pumpkins didn't you know?

Carson gags at the sight of the guts.
Davis is not sure he likes the inside of the pumpkins anymore.

What kind of sissy boys am I raising over here?

Gus does like the pumpkin.

Harper does too.
Carving is serious business.
Very serious to Keith.
Davis has the right idea. Until later when he says "carve this ghost in the other side of it" to me...oy!
Bopa...on pumpkin 2? He is usually one ahead of us.

We carve, they clean...not a fair trade.

All done carving and dressed for bed.
All this Halloween stuff is scaring Harper.
\

Keith's Frankenstein.
Bopa goes retro.
That ghost Davis made me do.
Bopa's face.
Jeni's Face.
My Jayhawk.

Much happier Harper back inside. Nothing scary in here.

Deanna Rose - Night of the Living Farm 2010

This is a Halloween tradition. Something we can't miss!

Here we are. All of us. Mario, Iron Man, Gus the Cowboy and the Lady Bug.

Gus was almost a chicken...or an astronaut...or a fireman...but the chaps fit so I guess cowboy it is!
Harper is not so sure of all this...people look strange all dressed up I suppose.

My favorite boys!
The spooky hay rack ride. Carson thought his mask would protect him. It went on each time he was scared.

Mario and Monga.
Iron Man getting his moves on. He will tell you he has them. Moves that is. They are to protect you.
I just can't get enough of this--SO CUTE!
And even CUTER!
Me not so cute, but how sweet is she!?
The fam...and either this camera angle or all the food I have eaten while my parents have been here are making those hips look wide! Mine, not Keith's :-)

Lime green striped booty on the lady bug!

Love her!

Katie and Gus! Katie and Davis are in the same class!
Katie, Emily and Harper dancing.
She really liked the dancing.
Singing with Monga.
Mario...playing Mario?! Do we need video games at an outdoor event?

Mario was worried about keeping the Marshmallow out of his moustache.

The scavenger hunt begins. One of the best parts of the farm!
He looks a little more detective than Mario in Jeni's jacket.
Harper was riding the duck and was quite happy until Carson decided to join her...
it was all downhill from there...
literally.
So, it was time to go home. Carson and Harper were all done. One last pic of my oldest boys!
