Seeing Santa - 2010

Here we are to the left of Santa doing OK.
Then Carson sits down and Harper melts down in the background.
To the right of Santa. Hanging on to her brothers.
Freaking out.

Two out of three ain't bad.
And the fit gets bigger.
And bigger yet.
Screaming.
Davis tries to make it better.
If it is possible, we scream even louder.

Louder. Can you hear this?

So I try to show her how Santa is not scary.

She isn't buying it.

But on an up note, she did really like the fake taxi. Much better than the Santa.

She also liked the fake polar bear.
And she liked the train.

Of course she liked Sonic, she is my girl after all.

And the fam...all of us and Santa. Not the best picture, but it is what it is after all...

Hockey! Go Mavericks!

Friday night Keith took the boys to the Mavericks game. I didn't know it was in a suite or Harper and I would have gone...much easier to chase her there than in a stadium. But...I don't think the girls were invited.

Keith went with Dean and Russ and our boys. See Russ loving on Maverick.

Terrible camera phone pic, but Keith left the camera in the car...so I guess you get the picture, right?

Happy Thanksgiving 2010

Cranberry Caramel Bars
The very reason I have gained 3lbs this week.
Chuck Cookies.
Rolls by Jeni.
Pumpkin Dump Cake.
And we had food too. Harper was not too excited about it.
Carson had the traditional hot dog dinner.
Davis and his turkey leg. His favorite.
Harper thinking she will try it too.
But not as big of a fan as Davis.

We had a quiet Thanksgiving at home with JeniChuck since we were out of town the weekend before. I did a terrible job taking pictures since I was focused on cooking and then my all night shopping adventure...which was a total bust. Thank you to JeniChuck for going shopping for me on Friday and getting many things on my list. It feels good to be at least 80% or more done with that!

It was a nice day, much to be thankful for. We are very blessed. I hope everyone had a wonderful day as well!

Rock Chalk!

Big soda, quite a treat!

Davis and Daddy got to go to the game this week.

Watching the scoreboard was a highlight I think.

Really?

When we got home from Wichita it was late Sunday night. We were doing laundry and getting ready for school and Keith said "you are going to be so pissed". Then he said "get your camera". The new make-up that I had just gotten for the wedding I am going to in a few days...and it was all trashed. All over the floor, furniture and of course the kids. Carson had gotten into it and did this to Harper...I am sure she participated as well. Needless to say they got in a bit of trouble...especially since this is the fourth time that Carson has gotten into my make-up.

Thanksgiving in Goessel

My girl is so done. Nothing like starting a lunch at 1PM in the middle of nap time :-)

She did like her cookie though.
Keith's cousin Jenny and her baby Owen.
Playing games.
Owen and our nephew Braylen.
My pretty girl.
Who is annoyed that we are swinging and not napping.
Swinging with cousin Addilyn.

Getting the football out of the three. This took a good part of the afternoon, but after "borrowing" pipe from around town they made this happen.

Are we done yet? This girl did great considering her lack of sleep. She made up for it the first few days after we got home though.
