Getting Ready for Meet the Teacher!

First things first, gotta get the baby!

Pretty smiley for a girl with another double ear infection!

Love the baby.
Maybe my baby does not feel so good after all.

Sit and clap.
Being cute.
Going to dance now.

Today was a big day...

it was meet the teacher day for everyone. Harper and Carson this morning and Davis this evening. I am still a bit unsure about leaving Harper but know that without that time I can't spend time at Davis' school. It was so much easier last year when she slept in her car seat when I was there...but I guess she has to grow up sometime.

Speaking of Harper, she has another double ear infection. Keith is already talking tubes.

I do have pictures to post, and am behind...but have a feeling it might be January before I am caught up again. I have so much to do and really don't want to do any of it, how is that for motivated....

Pillow Pets from Monga

Monga spoils them. Well, Monga and Bopa since I think they got these on their latest trip to California.

When we were visiting this summer the kids saw these on a commercial (these and some balls they keep talking about) and guess what came in the mail this week...the pillow pets! Carson got a tiger, Davis a monkey and Harper and unicorn. Harper keeps calling her her "baby". Then again, every thing is baby or baby doll to her. Carson is giving up his Spiderman pillow (or so he said). Davis is sitting on his. Guess his is a seat cushion?

Thank you Monga & Bopa.

Toothless.

During dinner Davis lost something...

This is just weird but when I said show me where you lost your tooth this is what I got.

He was SO excited, in fact there are more loose ones that I think might follow soon.

If you close one eye and squint you can see that tiny tiny tooth in his hand.

Big week for my first grader! Four teeth gone and I think a few more going soon too!

Debbie Howard's Gym

Carson & Emily Grace - He does love the ladies.

Harper had fun climbing on everything. She is half monkey so this was perfect for her!

EG and C in the web.
Stuck mid web.
It is a stand off.

Carson had a great time here. He loves this place and was so excited to get to go today. He has been missing Davis quite a bit, but today I asked him if he missed him and he said "not so much". I guess he is liking the extra attention after all.

My new favorite game

It got awfully quiet in the house when Harper was napping....and so I went to see what was going on, and this is what I found. This boy is genius.

Be Kind.

A dear friend of mine has this quote on her facebook page.

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a great battle. - Philo of Alexandria

How true that is. Some people are really fighting rough battles.

One that is quite great I learned about today from a friend. One of her friends husband has been battling cancer for over a year now and things are not looking well. Her friends mother just called asking for people to shower them with cards. Of course, I can do this--a very quick and simple thing, but I am hoping that maybe you can too. It doesn't even have to be a card, but anything you can write a note one and stick a stamp on that says I am thinking of you--I am praying for you--Cancer sucks. Whatever you want to say.
Holly and her husband Matt (who has cancer) have a beautiful son whom they adopted about a year and a half ago. That joyous time in their lives was overshadowed by the finding of the cancer. It has been a battle and Matt has been fighting hard but, it is not looking too good right now.

Cards of encouragement would be so much appreciated!! Please keep them in your prayers.
